No stranger to the art world, I have spent many years running my own Entertainment Marketing company – Bronson Productions Inc. I have been fortunate enough to work with such brilliant artists as the Rolling Stones, Tina Turner and Michael Jackson to name just a few.
My mediums wildly vary - plaster, encaustic wax, acrylic, oil, watercolor, glass, paper-mache… I have no proverbial ‘niche’ as they like to say in the art world; I must try it all. What is apparent in much of my work is ‘texture’ and my studio is very much a laboratory.
Art leads me into my subconscious where I trust my instincts and experiment with different mediums and techniques. What happens if I do this? What happens if I use that? It is experimentation that leads us all to those ‘ah-ha’ moments within our soul; moments that take our breath away, or give us new breaths that expand to new levels of insight and expression. What it teaches me is patience and provides the spiritual satisfaction I need to feed my soul.
There is nothing better than seeing that others also get it/award it/buy it. I’m sure all Artists agree that seeing your work hanging in someone else’s home or establishment is most gratifying.
New: A new medium I recently discovered is ‘pet ash’. No that’s no typo – cremated pet ash. It came about through the request of a friend who asked me to create an abstract of her cat using a small amount of ash. It turned out so well, that I now offer this service to others under Memorial Petscapes.
